Delfina Gómez atiende a familias afectadas por lluvias en Naucalpan
TOLUCA, Edomex., 5 de septiembre de 2018.- En la lucha por sus derechos y salir del rezago histórico que han sufrido, las mujeres mazahuas de la entidad se expresaron en búsqueda de la igualdad y respeto, así como su intención de trabajar con la nueva legislatura local, esto en el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer Indígena, celebrado este día.
«Queremos tener nuevas expectativas que nos lleven a la justicia que merecemos, las mujeres indígenas que hemos estado relegadas por centenares de años no queremos estar en segundo plano, queremos estar en un plano de igualdad», expresó Estela Flores Ramírez, de Mazahuas en Movimiento.
Asimismo, Guadalupe Acevedo Agapito, añadió que entregarán a la Cámara de Diputados su posicionamiento para que sea incluido en la agenda, entre los planteamientos se encuentra el derecho a la tierra, derecho a que se modifiquen las prácticas y tradiciones que excluyen los derechos de la comunidad, la búsqueda de derechos sociales por medio de políticas públicas para las mujeres indígenas y leyes más estrictas en los delitos que les afectan.
Además plantean el respeto a los derechos políticos electorales en los espacios de representación y derechos patrimoniales y económicos, los cuales dijo «son parte fundamental para empoderarnos como mujeres indígenas, …no hemos dejado de participar, no estamos estáticas, estamos en movimiento y aquí seguiremos para hacernos más visibles».
